Spring rains have been hammering us here in New Hampshire for what feels like a month. We had a slice of sun cut through the clouds today, and so I jumped outside as quick as I could and snapped some of the post-rain garden magic (as well as some other stuff).
Knees in the dirt, black flies buzzing and biting… it’s all good. It felt really good to suck up the small bit of sunshine and capture these shots.
Shot with a 50mm f2.8 Sigma macro lens, which although it’s not a Nikkor lens (which I don’t care about too much, honestly), performs like a champ. It’s been a true workhorse for me for years. Check out the larger sizes below in the thumbnails.
