Here’s another one for the print design category. The nice folks at the White Mountain Waldorf School called me up to design a poster for their Craft Faire. We used beautiful Waldorf inspired artwork from one of the many talented kids at the school, and combined it with some great fonts and layout, and a beautiful custom watercolor textured background painted by Claire Mahoney. Addison Mason Builders Tri-Fold and Business Cards

I’ve been busy cranking on jobs, but I’ve been really trying to force myself to add more projects as time permits; so here’s another one. This project was completed for Addison Mason Builders. I had worked with Marc Plauche with the Addisonmasonbuilders.com website and other marketing and advertising items. This brochure is a pure Rovettidesign project developed from scratch (minus a few photos on the inside). Tasks for this project included (well, everything, really but here’s the ticklist).

Layout and Design
Photography (including custom HDR photography)
Printing

As a side note… Marc was also very happy to know that Rovettidesign was able to deliver 2500 full-color tri-fold brochures to his doorstep for under $275.00!!!! This isn’t your local print shop quality either… these were beautiful brochures on 100 lb. high-quality gloss book paper with an aqueous (AQ) coating. Stunning print quality, printed at 500 line screen.

Not sure what more I should say… why are you still paying more for mediocre design, and lower quality printing? Logic dictates that better, more engaging design and higher quality printing at a fraction of what you would normally pay would make sense, right? Geoscience Outreach Foundation

Sarah Garlick fron the Geoscience Outreach Foundation called me. She needed some rack cards and some business cards for a trade event that she was attending. She needed them quick. Like “for the weekend” quick. Deadlines don’t generally intimidate me; with awesome print support, and a streamlined workflow, I most definitely look forward to bringing some DESIGN THUNDER in a pinch.

Sarah came to the studio, and after a quick talk about likes and dislikes, color, and concept (I’ll never say the word “ideation”), I got to work. With Sarah chilling out in the studio and listening to some music from the Rovettidesign library, the pixels flew, and we were finished with the initial layouts. Shortly thereafter, we had the finals ready to rock, and were digitally delivered to be printed.

Sarah was totally stoked with the quality of the design and the printing (that was delivered to her location at the trade event).

I love eating scary timelines for breakfast.

Kismet Rock Foundation Brochure

Aphrodite's Love Chocolates Logo – A Sneak Peek

Rovettidesign is happy to announce that we’re working with Aphrodite’s Love Chocolate; we’re working on all of their branding, photography, print collateral, website, and logo design… we also get to eat the chocolate, which is a pretty killer fringe benefit.

The chocolates are raw, organic chocolates, that are like nothing you’ve ever tasted before. They’re very unique, and owner Katrina Coravos wanted to incorporate the unique aspects of the chocolates into her design. She was really happy when we showed her the final version. We hit it just right. Take a look below.

International Aircraft Sales

It feels good when you get a call, and it’s your client wanting to tell you that your work made them look good… better yet; it turned heads. I was hired to redesign the International Aircraft Sales website (screen below). This included designing a new logo, as well as some really slick business cards. I love this job. We had a good amount of wiggle room to really get creative and build a new, clean, professional image for the company. As some of the content areas of the site need to still be updated and beefed up, we decided to launch as is, and IAS will be simply providing with updates and content as they develop them. We were happy to be a part of the launch of a very cool, and very solid company with a fantastic track record. Thanks, Frank; we’re happy you like the work, and we’re happy you chose Rovettidesign for such an important project.

Rovettidesign chosen to design new Kismet Rock Foundation Brochure

I’m proud to announce that Kismet Rock Foundation chose Rovettidesign as the designer to design and print their next brochure. The brochure is slated to be a half-fold four color brochure, featuring outstanding photography from Brian Post and Rob Vandegrift. It’s looking to turn out to be a great piece. Kismet Rock Foundation is also planning on using Rovettidesign’s unbeatable printing solution for these brochures as well. I look forward to showing it off here as soon as it’s ready.

Anne Skidmore Photography… new postcards.

When Anne Skidmore needed to get herself ready for a heavy duty Outdoor Retailer appearance (you know; meeting and greeting new and old clients, checking out the hottest new gear, and snagging the newest gossip in the industry) she wanted to be able to give folks something that was more than just a business card.

She called Rovettidesign.

We got to work.

Anne provided us with a very straightforward brief… size of the card, ideas on style and theme, and a quick layout concept. We fleshed it out. What you see below is the final card. It’s incredible what punch a simple 4″x6″ postcard can have.

We had our printers make the magic happen (expedited) and the entire turnaround for the cards was less than 48 hours (from first phone call to the boxes of cards being loaded on the truck). When I told Anne what her total was for the project (including expedited printing and red label delivery), there was silence on the other end of the phone.

Anne quickly recovered, and let us know quite happily that it was easily hundreds less than anywhere else she’s done business with in the past. Hell yeah… Rovettidesign does it again.
