Crystal Lake… early morning.

I love this shot… the pose is great, and the whites have an ethereal quality to them. Again, this one spent a good amount of time in the studio after the shoot getting edited.

Here’s the schedule.

5:25 a.m. – The cell phone alarm clock goes off, and I’m up and out of bed.
5:35 a.m. – Make a cup of Chamomile Apple tea with honey in a travel mug (I don’t do caffeine… crazy, right?)
5:50 a.m. – On the road to Crystal Lake in Eaton NH to shoot with Anne.
6:00 a.m. – Meet up with Anne, and start shooting (and posing).

Anne and I decided to meet and shoot for about an hour.  She started the posing, out in the water… then we switched.  A fun experience all in all, as the water was super-warm, and the morning was overcast and kind of dreamy.

Here are a couple of unfinished shots from the morning. Enjoy.

Cloud layers had to be blown out a bit, as the morning was so smoky. This one was really designed to be a saturated, moodier shot...
